YOU CANNOT WALK IN FOR SUBOXONE, YOU MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!!!!
Are you experiencing withdrawal symptoms such as headaches, sweating, flu like symptoms, nausea or cold chills when you stop taking pain pills? Are you trying to come off of an opiate addiction by yourself, but you are continuing to use and justify your using by telling yourself you can will get it under control?
Suboxone is an effective and safe medication that can help you get your life back on the right track.
Suboxone is not used to stop, prevent or reduce pain. It is a helpful medication when trying to fight addiction.
Some Very Important Information:
We accept most insurance
You must come in for a consultation (you will not get medication during this visit). During this consultation we will do blood work, go over your abuse history, set goals, etc. This visit is very time consuming so allow plenty of time.
We do not see Suboxone patients on the weekend.
You are required to come every 2 weeks.
You cannot bring your child with you to these appointments.
You must keep your scheduled appointment. There will be no changes once the appointment is made, if an emergency comes up then we will try to work with you but if it becomes a habit, then you may be terminated from the program.
If you miss your appointment by more than 4 days then you will terminated from the program or you may be required to start from the very begining.
If you have insurance then your first visit will be a consultation only, no medication is given on this first visit.
You are required to see a therapist (of your choice) and or required to attend NA meetings.
If your insurance denies any part of the visit then you will be responsible for those charges.
If you have Medicaid: Our name has to be on the card! Also you have to remember that Medicaid allows 22 visit a year with your Doctor, so you may have to pay for a visit or 2 out of pocket at the end of the year if you go over your visit limit.
If your drug screen is abnormal in anyway, we will repeat the drug screen but you will be responsible to pay for the second screening. You will not be able to obtain the medication if you do not repeat the screen.
If you do not see a counselor, if you drug screen is abnormal or if there are any other problems then you will be asked to come in weekly for a period of time instead of the usual bi-weekly.
We do not call in medications.
We do not prescribe Methodone or any other type of medication. Suboxone is not used to manage pain, it is a tool to help with addiction.
You will sign a contract and will not be allowed to see another doctor to obtain opiates, suboxone, or other controlled substances.
